The Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club’s 4th Annual St. Patrick’s day Dinner Dance will be 6 to 11pm Saturday March 3rd at the Casino at Lakemont Park.  Tickets include dinner and beverages from 6 to 9 and entertainment by The Michael O’Brien Band.  Proceeds support the HAWC scholarship, grant and community service programs.  Tickets are $40, available at the Hollidaysburg YMCA and Hollidaysburg Area Public Library
St. John’s Reformed Church, 906 Maple Avenue, Hollidaysburg, will host the Hollidaysburg Free Soup Program on Saturdays, February 18th, 25th, & March 3rd.  Hot soup, sandwich, bread and butter, desserts, and beverages will be available, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  A free will offering will be accepted. The Free Soup Program is open to everyone
The Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center is seeking nominations for its annual Small Business awards. Nominations are being accepted from Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset counties until March 23 for Small Business Person(s) of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Financial Services Advocate of the Year, and Women in Business Advocate of the Year. Winners and nominees will be recognized at a luncheon at noon on Wednesday, June 13 in the JFK Center on the Saint Francis University campus.
